href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/topic\/aston-villa\">Aston Villa<\/a>\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/topic\/europa-league\">Europa League<\/a> final win in Istanbul.<\/p>\n<p>The club, which marked its first European trophy in 44 years, said it wanted to create a \u201cunique experience for fans and players alike\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/sport\/football\/aston-villa-freiburg-europa-league-tielemans-buendia-rogers-emery-b2980760.html\" title=\"Aston Villa end decades long wait for major trophy with Europa League victory\">after beating Freiburg 3-0 on Wednesday.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Aston Villa said the parade, featuring three buses, will begin on Branston Street in the Jewellery Quarter at 4.30pm on Thursday before covering a 4.5km route.<\/p>\n<p>The club said in a statement: \u201cThis will be an opportunity for those who missed out on being in Istanbul to be part of the team\u2019s homecoming \u2013 and we cannot wait to bring the trophy home to you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Birmingham City Council will be implementing temporary parking suspensions and road closures across several streets in the city centre, the club said.<\/p>\n<p>The win was Villa\u2019s first silverware since the League Cup in 1996 and a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/sport\/football\/aston-villa-freiburg-europa-league-final-unai-emery-b2979747.html\" title=\"The Unai Emery lesson Aston Villa can learn to bring back the European glory years\">first continental trophy since the European Cup in 1982.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Prince of Wales, patron of the Football Association and a passionate Villa supporter, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/news\/uk\/home-news\/aston-villa-europa-league-prince-of-wales-john-mcginn-football-association-b2980800.html\" title=\"Prince of Wales congratulates Aston Villa after Europa League final victory\">erupted into cheers at the match in Istanbul <\/a>and called it an \u201camazing night\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The club said the players will have a full training session on Friday, before travelling to Manchester on Saturday before Sunday\u2019s Premier League match against Manchester
