Turkey shooting sees 4 dead and 8 injured after gunman opens fire in restaurant

A 17-year-old is suspected of carrying out an allegedly shooting that saw four people killed and eight injured after reports the incident began in a restaurant in Turkey

Police are currently hunting a suspected gunman who opened fire in a restaurant before reportedly targeting people randomly in his way,

The incident occurred in Turkey today (May 18) with at least four people shot dead and eight others injured, according to local reports.

The shooting reportedly started in a restaurant in Tarsus , Mersin, with the suspect then fleeing in a car.

Several Turkish publications have reported that the police are believed to be hunting a 17-year-old suspect in connection with the shooting.

It is also believed that two of those who tragically died are the owner and an employee of the restaurant where the horror scenes first unfolded.
