‘Very calm’ Buffalo with strawberry blonde comb-over compared to Donald Trump
A 700kg buffalo from Bangladesh has made headlines after being compared to, and even named after, President Donald Trump, with the pair seemingly sporting the same iconic haircut
A male buffalo has gone viral due to its apparent similarities with President Donald Trump, and not just because of the copious amounts of bull excrement it produces.
The bull, also named Donald Trump, sports the same iconic strawberry blonde comb over as the Commander in Chief, as well as the President’s signature pout.
Donald Trump (the bull not the man) weighs in at an impressive 700kg, and spends its days enjoying a diet of corn, soybean, and bran on a farm in Bangladesh. Donald Trump the world leader on the other hand weighs around 100kg, and spends his days enjoying a diet of Big Macs and chocolate milkshakes in a large house in Washington.
Farmer Ziauddin Mridha first bought the the albino bull at a cattle market last year, and says that it was his younger brother who first made the connection to the US President.
He explained: “My younger brother jokingly named it Donald Trump after seeing the hair on its head. It is very calm in nature. Albino buffaloes are generally peaceful and do not become aggressive unless provoked.”
The viral buffalo has reportedly caused quite a buzz locally, with visitors apparently queuing up to see the Trump-ish bull.
Farmer Mridha has quite sensibly taken advantage of this literal cash cow, selling the creature for an undisclosed amount.
Trump is apparently joined by an even larger, more aggressive buffalo brother, which has been named after Israeli leader Benjamin Netanyahu.
Unsurprisingly, social media was awash with reactions revelling in the similarity. One user joked: “this buffalo is more handsome than Donald Trump”, while another chimed in saying: “I’m sure it is much smarter” than the US President.
According to a report in The Pioneer, Donald Trump is not the only world leader-inspired cattle on his farm.
Buffalo Donald Trump is not the first time the President’s likeness has been found on a farm. In 2018, a Spanish farmer made headlines around the world after she was deemed to the spitting image of the then newly elected President.
Dolores Leis, 64, was asked by journalists at the time what she made of her look-alike, but the farmer was reportedly more concerned with “moth plague threatening her potato crops” than she was current affairs.
Speaking to the Spanish newspaper La Voz de Galicia, she admitted she did see the similarities, saying: “I say that it must be because of the colour of the hair. ”
Despite agreeing with the comparisons, Dolores declared that she was baffled by the global attention, despite her daughters trying to explain how and why she had gone so viral.
She said: ” I look at everything my daughters show me, but I’ve never been curious enough to have one.
They say I’m going to be famous because of this photo, but I don’t understand any of it.”
Trump has in the past been likened to a dog, a cat, guinea pig, a corn on the cob, a character from the TV show Spongebob Squarepants, and a doughnut – and that’s just by the Daily Star…
