Weirdest botched surgeries revealed– from ear sewn on foot to missing boob
With the demand for cosmetic surgery and other ops rocketing, its little wonder that occasionally things go more than a little wrong. From sewing random body parts to each other to near-fatal procedures, some of the horror stories from unfortunate patients will leave you wincing.
Here are just some of the people for whom going under the knife nearly cost them their life…..
‘Free’ problems
Real Housewives of Cheshire star Lauren Simon was left to “fight for her life” after undergoing a procedure in Turkey. She had agreed to undergo a breast reduction and an operation on her nose, which was set to be free as part of a collaboration between her and the practice.

However, within days of the procedure Lauren revealed her “left breast was going black” − something that only got worse, despite the team insisting it was “fine”. Lauren needed a 24-hour long procedure to bring her breast back to life.
Reflecting on the incident on Good Morning Britain, she said: “I couldn’t move. I was in agony. But then when I came home, it took a year for this left breast to heal. It still had two big holes in it, gaping.”
Emergency sewing

Surgeons in the Chinese city of Jinan were forced to carry out an unorthodox procedure to reattach a woman’s ear. The ear was severed from her body after a workplace accident on the factory floor.
Doctors raced the woman − only known as Sun − into the operating theatre in a bid to save her life following the accident. They were forced to move the ear elsewhere on her body after the blood vessels were severed on her head.
So they decided to attach it to the woman’s right foot, where the skin was thinner and blood vessels could provide the ear with circulation. Five months later, Sun’s injuries healed enough that the ear could be taken off the foot and reattached where it belonged.

Mum-of-five Jade Tayler paid £5,300 to get a “mummy makeover” in Turkey in the hopes of boosting her self-confidence. Instead, her dream quickly turned into a nightmare after an infection left her with just one boob.
After undergoing the surgery, the infection quickly took hold, spreading right across her right breast and leaving a hole the size of a 50p coin. She was forced to have a full mastectomy of the breast, and is now having to wear a fake breast after the botched procedure.
Reflecting on the surgery, Jade said: “The whole thing was one big agonising nightmare and I’m still not happy with how my body looks. I wish I’d never done it. It felt so important at the time but I look at old photos and feel sad now.”
Left ‘deformed’

A Brazilian influencer had gone under the knife for a face lift, but was left drastically changed when her face was filled with dangerous mineral oils. Juju do Pix had wanted extra silicone implanted, but quickly saw her face swelling.
The content creator was almost unrecognisable as the skin and muscles became horrifically swollen. She later claimed she was left “deformed” as a result of her botched op, and is now having several more procedures to remove the oils from her face.
However despite the horror, Juju has not stayed away from the surgeon’s knife, having returned for further enhancements including a boob job at a specialised clinic.
