Teen, 15, hospitalised after ‘violent’ stabbing outside school by machete-wielding thugs

A 15-year-old boy suffered serious injuries after he was allegedly stabbed repeatedly by a group of three hooded youths outside a school.
The incident is reported to have occurred just yards from Alkira Secondary College in Cranbourne, Melbourne, as the boy left the school at 3.15pm yesterday (July 20).
According to Victoria Police, the group reportedly yelled what they describe as a “war cry” before they launched the attack on the schoolboy. The force has confirmed that the three youths were not students at the school.
A heavy police presence remains around the school today (July 21) as the force revealed the attackers used several knives and machetes. The victim is reported to have suffered wounds to his neck back and hands.

Victoria Police have confirmed that the three suspects are currently on the run after fleeing the scene before officers had arrived. The force is currently searching for the offenders, reports the Daily Mail.
Ambulance Victoria confirmed a teenage boy was rushed to hospital and said he is in a “serious condition”.
Victoria Police Detective Inspector Mark Patrick said this was an “extremely violent” attack and said the group reportedly “war cry”.
In a statement, Victoria Police said “A crime scene is in place and officers are still searching for the outstanding offenders.
“Anyone who witnessed the incident, has dashcam or CCTV footage, or information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.”
A Department of Education spokesperson said: “An Alkira Secondary College student was assaulted in an incident that occurred outside the school and after school hours.
“The college is providing wellbeing support to those involved.”
