Arctic Fox Super Mouse Boasts Touchscreen, Puts Shortcuts and a Keyboard Right Under Your Palm

Arctic Fox Super Mouse
Arctic Fox Technologies has built a wired mouse, called Super Mouse, that places a 3.1-inch square touchscreen directly beneath the area where a palm rests during normal use. The unit measures 109 by 91 by 29 millimeters, carries a boxier profile than most everyday models, and arrives in yellow, white, or gray finishes. Standard left and right buttons sit above a scroll wheel, with two programmable Hyper Keys positioned nearby for actions that feel better as a physical press. Power and data both travel through a single USB-C cable, so the device stays tethered to the computer at all times.

Start by configuring the companion desktop program, Flow, on your Windows or Mac. In a panel called Control Panel, you can configure shortcuts, macros, and app launchers to appear on your desktop mouse. This window can stack up to 16 things on top of each other. The Control Panel will automatically display the appropriate set of controls for the apps you’re now running. For example, if you’re working on a video edit, you may notice playback and cut instructions right where you need them, because other software will move forward whatever operations it deems most beneficial.

Other modes include a multi-touch trackpad for scrolling, pinching, and creating custom motions, as well as a virtual keyboard that allows you to text with a single mouse swipe. You could even use it to adjust the volume and brightness of your screen using sliders, or to view your Google Calendar appointments and reminders in real time.

With Hyper Keys, you can send out a single command, trigger a series of activities, open many apps at once, or quiet notifications without pausing. Because the mouse has a gyroscope, you can do complex actions like tilting or rotating it to move through presentation slides or scroll through media timelines. The built-in microphones support more than 90 languages, and the vendor claims that speech processing is done on your computer rather than a remote server. Then there are attention timers, a number of user profiles, and some basic tracking, all of which allow you to keep everything totally separate on a shared desk without requiring additional hardware.

Early Kickstarter backers can claim a device for $199 instead of the projected $249 retail price, with deliveries set to begin in February 2027. Arctic Fox has been testing prototypes for more than a year and believes that the flatter design maximizes screen real estate over typical curves. Once units reach workstations, the practical worth will be determined by how well the contextual layouts and supplementary inputs integrate into actual daily routines, rather than the quantity of features listed.
