Inside depraved ‘sex slave capital’ where girls, 11, are sold into life of 20-hour rapes

Victims of the world’s “sex slavery capital” are being forced into 20-hour rape ordeals. Girls as young as 11 are sold into the sordid sex trade in Tenancingo, Mexico, after being groomed by boys who were trained to become pimps.

Thousands of teenage girls are wooed by men with the promise of a better life in a plush mansion before they are sold into prostitution. After being captured, they are raped by on a daily basis by multiple men.

When they are no longer of use to the cold-blooded gangs, they “disappear” with some being killed because they became pregnant. A brave survivor has revealed the horrors she endured after meeting her pimp at the age of 14.

Sophia (not her real name) was showered with affection by a 17-year-old boy she met at a local park in Mexico city. After growing up in extreme poverty and suffering neglect from her family, she fell in love with Jose who promised her a new life with a real home.

However, the teenager had no idea Jose had planned to sell her body to hundreds of men and leave her to be raped for 20 hours every day. Sophia was groomed in her native Mexico City before being brought to Tenancingo, an impoverished town in the state of Tlaxcala.

She had no idea where she was and didn’t ask out of a fear it would ruin her plans for a new life. Jose introduced her to his family who told her she could stay if she agreed to work on the farm.

Sophia believed she was in a safe place away from the poverty and abuse of her home. However, pimps controlled the land and houses where some were raising kids and others were exploiting women.

Jose then promised her a new life in the US and, after a number of deportations, the pair finally made it to Queens, New York. Sophia was then told Jose was a pimp and she was now a sex slave.

She told the Sun: “You’re undocumented here; this is all you can do. This is all you have. You love me. You would do anything for me.”

In a desperate bid for freedom, Sophia tried to escape several times. She faced harsh punishments when she was caught and says Jose broke her jaw to teach her a lesson.

Another captor threatened to kill her and her family, who had no idea what was happening across the border. Sophia said: “I couldn’t comprehend what was going on. I had no other options but to live like this.”

She still has injuries to this day from the brutal physical abuse she suffered. She added: “I was just a child. I was forced into sex trafficking.”

Sadly, Sophia’s story is commonplace in Tenancingo, where thousands of women are sold into the brutal world of sex slavery.

Karla Jancito Romero, 32, is another survivor who was raped thousands of times before she turned 16. She grew up in Tenancingo where she was groomed at the age of just 12.

She was “vulnerable, confused and searching for love” when she first met Oscar, describing him as her “prince charming”.

However, her dream life away from her sexually abusive family quickly turned into a nightmare. Oscar was a pimp who moved her to Puebla, near Mexico City, where she was abused on a daily basis. “Some men would laugh at me,” she said.
