Luke Littler rallies from 3-1 down to reach last eight of Czech Darts Open
Luke Littler fought back to beat Krzysztof Ratajski and book his spot in the quarter-finals of the Czech Darts Open.
The 19-year-old world champion was trailing 3-1 in a race to six in the last-16 tie in Prague, but he clicked into gear and reeled off five successive legs to win 6-3.
He threw 180s and found his groove on the doubles to get the job done and make it six wins from six against Ratajski.
Littler, playing his first European Tour event since March, will next face Danny Noppert later on Sunday as he chases a sixth Euro title.
He will have to do it the hard way, though, as world number two Luke Humphries is still in the draw.
This is one of his favourite tournaments, winning three of the last five events in Prague, and he meets William O’Connor in the last eight after beating Andrew Gilding 6-2.
Michael van Gerwen pulled off a similar comeback to Littler, beating Wessel Nijman 6-4 from 3-1 down to set up a meeting with Jonny Clayton.
