Man City trying to hijack Spurs bid for Iliman Ndiaye
Manchester City are making an effort to swoop for Everton midfielder Iliman Ndiaye and hijack Tottenham’s bid for the Senegal international in the process.
Spurs had been exploring a move that could take Ndiaye to London and see Richarlison make a return to Everton, but City are now looking to lure him to the Etihad Stadium.
However, sources now indicate doubts over Tottenham’s interest in Ndiaye.

Mikey Moore leads Tottenham’s late-window outgoings
Tottenham are set to have a busy end to the transfer window with Mikey Moore among a host of players set to depart.
Moore is on the verge of a loan switch to Koln, which will not have an option to buy, while loan moves are also expected for young Brazil left-back Souza, as well as U21 players Alfie Dorrington, James Rowswell, Tyrese Hall and Damola Ajayi.
Midfielder Pape Sarr is expected to seal a loan to Juventus before Tuesday’s deadline, but Kevin Danso’s future is far from certain. The Austrian centre-back has asked to leave but saw a loan bid from Sunderland for his services rejected on Friday night.
Richarlison could also leave the club as part of a move for Everton’s Iliman Ndiaye, which would see the Brazilian make an emotional return to Merseyside.

Leeds after ‘one or two more’ after Joe Rodon injury
Daniel Farke says he wants Leeds to make “one or two more additions” before Tuesday’s deadline, especially after Joe Rodon sustained a hamstring injury in Sunday’s 1-1 draw against Brentford.
“Senior centre-back options, wing-back options – we don’t have the most, so yes, we will stay awake until Tuesday night,” he said.
“One or two more additions would definitely be helpful. But with the players I’ve got, I’m very happy.”
Leeds have not given up on their pursuit of recently-returned Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk on loan, while Wilfried Gnonto is linked with an exit to Fiorentina.

ICYMI: Abdul Abdulmalik gets Boreham Wood escape to break Jamie Vardy’s non-league transfer record
One of the more peculiar transfer sagas of this summer, 23-year-old winger Abdul Abdulmalik has got his much-desired move away from fifth-tier Boreham Wood to join Swedish club Djurgarden in a reported £1.75m deal.
The move breaks the National League’s transfer record that has stood since 2012, previously held by Jamie Vardy’s move to Leicester.
Abdulmalik enjoyed a breakthrough season for Boreham Wood, scoring 17 goals and providing 10 assist as his side reached the National League play-off final, during which he scored and bagged an assist.
With his stock high, Djurgarden came in with bids of £1m and £1.5m, which were both rejected by Boreham Wood, prompting Abdulmalik to take to social media and plea for a move away.
He has now got that exit and will play in Sweden’s top tier for a team chasing European football.
