Beauty queen influencer ‘Miss Tattoo’ and boyfriend gunned down on roadside

A former beauty queen and influencer and her boyfriend have been shot dead on a roadside. Ulissias Marcelli Couto Flores Cardial, 30, a fire performer and social media personality known as Miss Tattoo, was found dead with her partner Vinicius Souza de Carvalho, 28.
Their bodies were discovered a few metres apart on a rural side road in the coastal city of Porto Seguro, Brazil, on Saturday (18 Jul) but police said the couple were shot the previous day.
Forensic teams were called to the scene and recovered seven spent 9mm cartridge cases and two projectiles where Ulissias’s mobile phone was seized for analysis while her partner’s device was missing.

The influencer, who had over 20,000 Instagram followers, produced content on rock music, motorcycling and animal welfare. She won a local beauty title in 2021 and was due to present at a forthcoming music festival and leaves behind a 13-year-old son. The couple lived locally and worked in the events sector.
Investigators are examining signs they may have been held against their will before the shooting, and now family and friends have paid tribute on social media.
Ulissias’s mother wrote: “Go in peace, my loves. You leave an immortal legacy. We will miss you dearly – this is such a heartbreaking loss.”

Festival organisers said: “Today, with profound sadness, we bid farewell to her presence among us. It is difficult to believe that someone who was about to share such a special moment with us has left so soon.”
No arrests have been made yet as the investigation continues.
It comes after a 23-year-old beauty queen and her boyfriend were discovered dead alongside each other beneath debris following Venezuela’s catastrophic earthquake. Skarlent Rodríguez was found beside José Castro under the ruins of the apartment block where they both resided.
The model, who claimed the Miss Grand Orlando 2025 crown, became trapped when the structure in Catia La Mar, La Guaira State, one of the worst-affected coastal regions, collapsed during the devastating tremors on June 24.
