Naked man who ‘exposed himself to schoolgirls’ in street gives police bizarre excuse

Suspect Sakae Fujita was arrested after he allegedly roamed the streets of an area of Tokyo, Japan, completely naked and approached girls after they had just left school

A man who was arrested after being caught roaming the streets of Tokyo Japan while allegedly naked gave police officers a bizarre excuse for is behaviour.

Suspect Sakae Fujita allegedly visited a park and went down several streets with no clothes on while he reportedly approached a group of schoolgirls. The female pupils had reportedly just left a local school before the man allegedly exposed himself to them.

Fujita was allegedly spotted around Nerima ward in Tokyo and was reportedly naked in the area for under 30 minutes, according to police.

The 41-year-old, described by police only as a company employee, was arrested on suspicion of public indecency in a park and on the streets of Fujimidai between 4:00pm and 4:25pm on May 8.

According to the Hikarigaoka Police, Fujita is suspected of targeting and ambushing female pupils on their way home from school. He reportedly approached them and said “I’m sorry” before leaving.

During a police interview, Fujita bizarrely partially denied the charges by stating he did not remember the particular incident.

However, according to police, he then continued to say that he had been outside naked more than once and said he does it when he is “stressed”.

As reported by Japan news outlet FNN, Fujita reportedly told police: “I don’t remember clearly, but I do remember being naked outside a few times.”

He also reportedly added that “I feel like I get naked when I’m stressed” and “I want to feel liberated.”
